GEARCASE DISASSEMBLYIMPORTANT: When installing the puller on the seals, be sure the jaws catch the seals and not the bushing in the gearcase head DISASSEMBLY8&WARNING
Wear safety glasses to avoid personal injury, and set compressed air pressure to less than 25 psi (172 kPa)
IMPORTANT: Clean and inspect all components during disassemblyReplace all damaged components, seals, O-rings, and gaskets upon assemblyRemove propellerRefer to PROPELLERRemove gearcaseRefer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Remove the drives haft seals from the gearcase cover using Puller Bridge, PIN 432127, and Small Puller Jaws, PIN 432131 Remove water pumpRefer to WATER PUMPDrain the gearcase by first removing the oil level plug, then the oil filiidrain plugRemove driveshaft from gearcase
