RemovalAll Models
Remove throttle lever from linkage and thread anchor off back end of cable
WARNING
To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leadsRemove manual starterSTARTER section Refer to MANUAL
Remove the lower motor coversRefer to POWERHEAD sectionRemove tie strap and connector retainer and disconnect Amphenol connectorRemove stop button blackyellow wire from connector using Pin Removal Tool, PIN 322698Remove bottom screw, with lock washer, from power pack and remove ground (black) wireRemove the steering handle screw, nut and sleeveLift the handle from the steering bracket, pulling cable through grommet
