Apply Nut Lock to midsection stud threadsInstall powerhead with oil sump on midsection studsTorque nuts, with lock washers, to 15 to 17 ftIbs(20 to 23 N'm) in the sequence shown
Install thermostat to oil sump, overboard indicator, and oil mist to carburetor recirculation hosesSecure with tie straps

Apply Nut Lock to threads of mount to steering handle screwsAttach mounts to steering handle and torque to 108 to 132 inIbs(12 to 15 Nm)
Install fuel componentsRefer to FUEL SYSTEM sectionInstall ignition componentsRefer to IGNITION sectionInstall electrical componentsRefer to ELECTRICAL section1Upper mount screws
