Install new O-rings on cylinder block dowel pinsApply Gasket Sealing Compound to casing of new upper crankshaft seal, and oil to the seal lips
IMPORTANT: When starting seal over the crankshaft, be sure the lips fit properly and the seal is square in the boreRemove keys from the crankshaft and place the seal, casing up, on the crankshaftUse Crankshaft Seal Installer, PIN 342661, and the crankshaft pulley nut to press upper seal into placeTurn nut until installer contacts the powerhead
