FUEL SYSTEM CARBURETOR MIXTURE ADJUSTMENT Run the engine in gear near full throttle for one minuteQuickly reduce speed to SLOW and shift into NEUTRALThe engine should continue to run smoothlyIf the engine stalls or pops, the mixture is too leanTurn the needle counterclockwise 116 turnAllow 15 seconds after each adjustment for the engine to respond Repeat the previous step to make sure the mixture adjustment is correctIf the engine does not respond to adjustments, check it for other problemsMake sure gasoline is of good quality
