SYSTEM TESTS
Connect ohmmeter leads between stop button end of connector and clean engine ground The meter must show high readingConnect the meter black lead to clean engine groundAlternately connect meter red lead between the two orange power coil leadsCrank engine and observe meter at each connection: Any reading indicates power coil or leads are groundedLocate and repair ground, or replace coil If no reading is indicated, go to Voltmeter Output TestVoltmeter Output Test Set peak-reading voltmeter to POS500Attach meter black lead to one orange coil assembly leadAttach meter red lead to the other orange coil assembly lead

Momentarily press inward on the stop button The meter must show low readingRemove the emergency stop switch clip and lanyard The meter must show low readingIf any of the test results are incorrect, replace the stop button assemblyComplete all circuits disconnected during this test
