MIDSECTION EXHAUST HOUSING
Assembly
Slide one water tube grommet and the adapter to exhaust housing gasket down the water tubePlace second grommet in bore of the adapterAlign the water tube using marks made during disassembly and secure the water tube cover to the adapterTighten screws 48 to 60 inIbs(5 to N'm) while holding gasket in place
adapter to the outer exhaust housing, tightening screws to 60 to 84 inIbs(7 to 9.5 Nm)

Install the two lower side mounts to the exhaust housingTighten the screws to torque of 18 to 20 ftIbs(25 to 27 Nm)Install the thrust mount to the housing and tighten the screws to torque of 60 to 84 inIbs(7 to Nm)Check condition of the shift rod seal and replace if necessary
