INSTALLATION
Position new powerhead gasketDo not use sealer on the gasketCoat driveshaft splines with Moly LubeDo not coat top surface of driveshaft as lubricant here may prevent seating of driveshaft in crankshaft
Install shift linkage into lower bosses of intake manifold and secure with shift lever screw
Lower the powerhead assembly into placeTake care to guide the shift linkage into place in the notch in the lower motor coverIf necessary, rotate the flywheel in clockwise direction to align crankshaft and driveshaft splinesApply Gasket Sealing Compound to threads of the eight powerhead retaining screwsInstall and torque the screws 18 to 20 ftIbs(24.5 to 27 Nm)
