POWERHEAD DISASSEMBLY Carefully remove the retaining ring and remove the center main bearing and split sleevesIdentify the components and keep them separateRemove the lower main bearing only if it needs to be replacedUsing external retaining ring pliers, remove the lower bearing retaining ring
Remove O-ring from crankshaft sleeve and inspect itReplace the O-ring if damaged
Using an appropriate bearing separator, support the bearingplace separator flats against the bearing and press off the crankshaftRemove all piston rings and discard themUsing Retaining Ring Pliers, remove and discard the wrist pin retaining rings
