Removal
Remove electrical bracket cover screwsRemove cover
Apply isopropyl alcohol to the Amphenol connectors Align and carefully plug togetherSecure with wire retainer if usedApply Electrical Grease to the opening of each primary lead cover and install the covers on the ignition coilObserve proper wire routing and ignition timingRefer to IGNITION COILReplace electrical bracket cover and screws
IMPORTANT: After replacing any major ignition component, make sure the maximum spark advance is correctRefer to Maximum Spark Advance in MAINTENANCE section

Twist and remove cover to remove the spark plug and primary leads from the ignition coilMake note of the fastener and washer orientation before removing any screws
