POWERHEAD DISASSEMBLY68 Remove the piston rings using an appropriate ring expanderRemove the wrist pin using Pressing Pin, PIN 333141and Piston Cradle, PIN 326573
Using Retaining Ring Pliers, remove the wrist pin retaining ringsDiscard the rings
WARNING
To avoid personal injury, use insulated gloves when handling pistons that have been heatedThe piston must be heated to 200400 (93 204 C)The heat source must be applied evenly, not concentrated in small area on the pistonInspect wrist pin bearing in connecting rodIf worn, replace wrist pin and bearingTo remove bearing, use Wrist Pin Bearing Remover and Installer, PIN 327645COB1129
