FUEL SYSTEM CARBURETOR3.5 Install needle jet and main jetInstall slow speed adjustment screw with spring on carburetor body
Installation
IMPORTANT: Replace any fuel hose or fuel
hose clamp if deteriorated or damagedInstall new O-ring into carburetor throatSlide carburetor onto crankcase and tighten the clamp screw
Install new float chamber gasketCheck for correct positioning of float hingeFloat level controls the height of fuel in the float chamber and is critical to carburetor calibration and function Top of float hinge should be 0.090 in (2.3 mm), measured from the top of the gasket1Clamp screw
Connect the fuel hose to carburetor with tie strapInstall air silencer on carburetorInstall knobs on throttle and choke leversIf removed, connect the stop switch wiresInstall engine covers as described in FUEL TANK
