Remove nut and pulley retainer from mandrel and remove starter assemblyInstall spindle, screw and locknutTighten locknut to 120 to 144 inlb(14 to 16 Nm)
Turn pulley counterclockwise to pull spring all the way into housingAllow pulley to slowly unwind until tension is relievedTurn pulley counterclockwise approximately turns until opening for rope in housing aligns with rope channel in pulleySecure pulley in place with stop tool in pulley and housing holes
