Packard Connector Servicing Terminal Removal
A tab on the back side of the terminal engages shoulder in the connector's body to hold the terminal in place
rn 2Slightly pull on wire to move tab away from shoulderrn [!] 3.above theaterminalsuchpush the tab downinto the Insert tool, as one shown, to the connector4Push the tool and wire out of the connectorTerminal Installation
1Pry seal out of connector
The terminal must be pulled into the connector to lock it in placeBefore installing new terminal on wire, insert the wire through the seal and connector[] 1The tab on the terminal must extend enough to lock the terminal in place inside the connectorIf the tab isn't extended, use thin tool and bend it outward slightly2Pull terminal into connector3Push seal into connector until seated
