3Place pulley over mandrel and secure with pulley retainer (taper toward pulley) and left hand thread nut (Kit PIN 342682)
4Pull lightly on spring to eliminate slack and turn pulley counterclockwise with handle (Kit PIN 342682) until spring hook engages pulley hub slot5Turn pulley counterclockwise to pull spring all the way into housing 6Allow pulley to slowly unwind until tension is relieved
7Turn pulley counterclockwise approximately 3'2 turns until opening for rope in housing aligns with rope channel in pulleySecure pulley in place with stop tool in pulley and housing holes8Route rope through housing into pulleyTie knot in rope and place in channel
9Hold rope taut and pull stop tool outAllow rope to slowly wind into starter10Remove nut and pulley retainer from mandrel and remove starter assembly
