Wear safety glasses while disassembling and assembling manual starters because of rewind spring tension1Remove snap ring, pawl and linkage
[] 2Pull rope out completely, install handle (Kit PIN 342682) on pawl pin and secure with tie strap around starter leg and handle[] 3Remove rope from pulley channel, untie knot and remove rope from starter assembly
