7Place the pInion thrust washer in the gearcase with chamfered side facing top of the gearcasePosition the thrust bearing then the pinion8Lubricate, then install the driveshaftRotate the shaft to engage the pinion9Position the water intake screen in the gearcase with tabs facing up
10Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to both sides of new impeller plate gasketPosition the gasket and impeller plate on the gearcase11Apply OMC Needle Bearing Assembly Grease to the impeller drive pin CDPlace the pin on the flat of the driveshaft12Oil and install new water pump grommet
