Removal
1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove spark plug lead2Loosen retaining screw and remove throttle cableRemove throttle friction assembly and lift up handle rod to disconnect cable from throttle rod assembly3Remove stop switch bullet connectors
4Remove steering handle retaining screws Remove handle, cable, and stop switch assembly5Check throttle cable parts and replace if necessary
Disassembly
1Remove grip retaining screw and remove handle rod
