Disassembly
1Remove four screwsand separate float chamber from carburetor body Remove and discard float chamber gasket
Carefully, remove packing from carburetor to avoid damaging threads in carburetor body3Remove roll pinand remove fuel shut-off valve equipped)Remove O-rings Q)
2Remove low-speed packing nutthen remove needle valve
4Remove fuel pump bladder by unscrewing fuel pump nipple (if equipped)5Remove hinge floatfloat valveand spring clip Unscrew valve seat and gasket 6Remove high-speed orifice plug 7Remove high-speed nozzle 8Refer to Carburetor Cleaning and Inspection

proceeding, be sure that all parts are perfectly cleanBe sure that all replacement parts match original ones in size and shapeReplace all gaskets, O-rings, and sealing washers each time you assemble carburetor
