Carburetor Adjustment
INote The motor must be mounted on the boat and in the water,
or in test tank, with appropriate propeller or test prop installed to make this adjustment1Make the following initial adjustments:
Using ballhex screwdriver, back out the throttle cam follower screw until follower does not touch the camIf necessary, advance the throttle to access the throttle cam screwReturn to the lowest throttle setting and verify the follower does not touch the cam
Turn the low-speed needle in (clockwise) until it seats lightly; then back it out (counterclockwise) turns Turn the cracking screw in until the spring is fully but lightly compressed
