1Loosen height adjustment screw and remove motor tube assembly from knuckle assembly Knuckle assembly is only serviced as an assembly
2If necessary, apply heat to shoulder screws and hinge pin to soften thread locking compoundRemove shoulder screws and hinge pinRemove knuckle assemblyTo avoid injury, use insulated gloves when handling warm fasteners or housing&
3If necessary, remove old rope from grip
Reassembly
and shaft
Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly, with special attention to these steps1Heat ends of new rope to prevent frayingThread rope through base eyelet and connect to shaft with knotThread rope through grip and washer Tie overhand knot in rope end and pull knot into grip2Install knuckle assemblyApply OMC Locquic Primerto threads of shoulder screws and hinge pin and let dryApply OMC Ultra Lock, and tighten securely
