RemoteElectronic Steered Disassembly 1Remove screws

and cover
2Remove screws from compass board, pull up on compass and remove compass assembly from steering housing 3Disconnect all wire connectionsCut glue around cord in housing and pry clamp openRemove coil cord assembly 4Remove screw and nut Remove housing from motor tube (8)Reassembly Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly, with special attention to these steps1When installing coil cord assembly, the red lead faces the compass and the cord must be glued back in the housing2The heavy red and black wires must be wrapped counterclockwise around each other at least three times for proper magnetic adjustmentMagnetic Adjustment 1Wrap tape around propeller and motor housing so propeller cannot turn2Face the motor control head west

3Turn foot pedal CON switch on, and advance speed selector between 4-5Watch compass disc and meter for movementMovement should not exceed 5Minimize movement by changing cross over point up or downIf the compass disc moves clockwise, the cross over point must be moved up4Point motor control head northRepeat test while watching compass disc and meterIf movement exceeds 5, rotate coil cord in area same direction as movement to minimize magnetic interference from coil cordRecheck in west direction after this adjustment5Remove tape from propeller and motor housingRecheck auto steer function
