Speed Control Variable Resistor ServiceP.W.MRemoval
1Push plastic shaft back from the variable resistor with flat blade screwdriver2Loosen the nut retaining the variable resistor
3Remove the variable resistor from the mounting bracket, remove he heat shrink tubes, and unsolder the wires
Installation 1Slide new heat shrink tubes on the wires and attach
YELLOW, BLACK, and ORANGE wiresUse diagram at the end of
2Use only rosin core solderDo not use acid core solder
this section for correct wire colors and terminal locations
3Place th in washer on variable resistor and position varia ble resistor in pedal with pin in alignment holePosition thick flat washer, lock washer, and nut on variable resistor
