Resistor and Adapter Replacement, or Motor Tube ReplacementHBF2 Models Removal

1Disconnect wires and remove steering housing as described in Section 32Remove adapter-to-motor-tube set screw
3Heat threaded area evenly with propane torch to soften thread locking compoundTo avoid injury, use insulated gloves when handling warm adapter housing4Turn motor assembly counterclockwise to separate adapter from motor tube
