5Line up index mark on steering gear with index mark on pinion flangeEngage steering gear teeth with pinion and slide steering gear down on pivot post6Apply OMC Screw Lock to steering cable set screwPosition steering cable and install set screw7Place one metal cup nut8Insert cable into pedal base9Place one rubber washer and one metal cup on cable nut
