1Remove the four screws retaining the coverDisconnect all wires in the standard

3P.W.MModelsDisconnect all wires in the P.W.Msteering housing
4Tilt foot pedal back to extend the steering cable5Lift steering gear off of pinion and remove the washer from the pivot post6Unthread the steering gear from the steering cable
