Deutsch Connector Servicing
The Deutsch pin and socket terminals are not the same size as Amphenol pin and socket terminalsYou cannot interchange them
Disconnect
Press latchpull connectors apartConnect
Check that seal is in placeClean off old greasel dirt from connectorsApply light coat of avIC Electrical Grease to sealPush connectors together until latched
Terminal Removal
Use hook-end of avIC Connector Service Tool, PI 342667, to pullout wedge from receptacle, or use other end of tool to pry out wedge from plugUse needle-nose pliers to remove wedge from 3-pin receptacleRelease terminal latch orgently pull on wire
Terminal Installation
Push terminal through seal until it clicks into placeTwist and tug wire if no click is heardFill connector with avIC Electrical Grease to 1132 in (0,8 mml below ledge or end of plug No other grease is recommendedIncorrect grease application can cause electrical or warning system problemsPush wedge in until latchedWedge in 2-pin receptacle is not symmetrical; position latch shoulders next to terminals
