Shift Cable To install shift cable:
1Grease trunnion pocket in cover half and cable pin Place shift cable eyelet between shift lever halves and drop pin through shift lever and shift cablePress cable trunnion in trunnion pocket
rn In2Shift lever lever must be forward against stopmust be in NEUTRAL before control is reassembledThrottle
Neutral start switch
must be in the center of neutral start cam
3Apply RTVsealer around the side and top mating edges of the control halves during assembly
rn In4To half over itcontrol, covercoveron bench bench shift assemble lay half on and place housing Placing flat keeps
lever pin from falling outTake care to properly pilot the electrical cable grommet into the housingInsert the three cover screws and torque them to 40-50 inIbs(4,6-5,5 Nm)
