OMC Snap-In CablesInstallation 1Place shift lever in NEUTRALRemove three cover screws from remote control and pull the two halves apart rn rn
2Place housing half and cover half on flat surfaceApply OMC Moly Lube grease to all points shown in figuresGrease the threaded holes in the cover
Throttle Cable 1Lubricate cable ends with OMC Triple-Guard grease
2Place housing half on benchWith fast idle lever completely down, move throttle lever out from behind plastic separator plate Do not remove plastic separator plateIf plate is missing, cable pins can fall out and control will jamGrease trunnion pocket and cable pin with OMC Triple -Guard grease
