TrimTilt Switch Test 1Disconnect the connector between the trim tilt switch and instrument harness2Use an ohmmeter calibrated on appropriate scale or continuity light to test continuity rn 3in the UPmeter to the trimtilt switch as shownPress the Connect switch direction:
Meter must show continuity Meter must show no continuity when switch is released[] 4Connect meter as shownPress the switch in the DOWN directionMeter must show continuity Meter must show no continuity when switch is released5If your results vary, replace the switchEmergency Stop Switch Test 1Install the stop switch clip and lanyard 2Disconnect the instrument harness connector that contains the blackyellow wire from the engine harness3Use an ohmmeter calibrated on the appropriate scale or continuity light to test continuity between the blackyellow wire, terminal "1", and the blackwhite wire, terminal "3"4Turn the key to the ON position (first detent clockwise)]5Connect meter as shown:
