[] 8Apply OMC Wheel Bearing Grease to the brush holder cap armature bearing9Correctly route the brush leads and install the springs and brushes
INote Incorrect

orientation of the brushes cou Id damage the starter or cause reverse rotation
[] 10Compress the brushes and springs with modified putty knife

11Align marks Q) and and place brush holder cap firmly on armature and slide putty knife out, making sure the brushes are retained properly
