49Remove the backing from new intake manifold gasket and install it in place on the reed box side ofthe manifold Refer to the Fuel System section and install the leaf plate assemblies
50Apply OVIC Locquic Primer to the eight intake manifold screws and allow to air dryApply OVIC Ultra Lock adhesive to the screwsInstall the intake manifold and secure with the screwsTighten the screws to 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)

INote The larger of the two flat washers must be placed between
the throttlespark lever and the crankcase
52Apply OVIC Triple-Guard grease to the inside and outside of the two throttle lever bushings Install the bushings into the bosses on the crankcase
