Maintenance Valve Servicing
Removal 1Remove the valve cap from the maintenance valve
2Remove the valve core using valve repair tool purchased from local hardware or auto parts supplier
3Thread the appropriate size tip of an automotive dent puller into the valve core housingUse the dent puller to pull the valve core housing straight out of the intake manifold
INote The old valve core housing must be pulled straight out of
the intake manifold, or the manifold will be damagedInstallation
1Install new O-ring onto the valve core housingApply OMC Locquic Primer and OMC Screw Lock to the unthreaded end of the housing
2Thread the valve repair tool half of the way onto the end of the valve core housing repair tool more than half of the way onto the valve core housingYou will not be able to remove the tool from the housing after installation
