Propeller Installation

1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leads2Coat propeller shaft splines sparingly with OMC Trip leGuard grease

3Place thrust bushing facing aft
onto propeller shaft with shoulder

4Slide propeller onto propeller shaft, engaging splines and seating it on thrust bushing5Install thrust washer shaft
and washer on splines of propeller

6Install and tighten propeller nut to 120 inIbs(14 Nm)Tighten the nut to align the nearest cotter pin holePropeller shaft should turn freely (engine in NEUTRAL) after propeller is installed7Install new cotter pinbending ends over nut
