15Install crankshaft in cylinder blockBe sure tabs of seal and housing fit in block grooves

16Lubricate crankshaft pins and rod bearings and install matching rod cap to rod with arrow mark on cap toward flywheelInstall and tighten nuts in two stages to specified torques
17Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to new gaskets and install with water jacket coversApply OMC Nut Lock to threads and install and tighten screws to specified torque

18Apply OMC Gel Sealto mating surfaces of crankcase and cylinder block, avoiding contact with bearing surfacesInstall dowel pins

19Install crankcase on cylinder blockLubricate screw threads and install, tightening in three stages to specified torque in the sequence shown11""1-13
