4Place powerhead and new gasket almost completely down on adapter and engage oil pump shaft to cam by rotating with screwdriverLower powerhead completely
[] 5Thread retainer screw in while holding pump shaft in position
INote Tighten retainer screw to 34-38 ftIbs(46-51
Nm) and line up flats with tangsBend one tang down, one tang up
[] 6Install oil pump access screw and tighten to 108-120 inIbs(12-14 Nm)7Remove the lifting eye and install stud
8Install the cylinder head to adapter nuts and washers and tighten to 16-18 ftIbs(22-24 Nm)
