1Apply OMC Moly Lube to two locationsthe armature shaft front cover bushing, and the rear cover bushingApply OMC Starter Pinion Lube, PI 337016, to the armature shaft pinion helix2Install brush set and spring in brush holderInstall brush holder on armature before installing in rear coverCarefully expand brushes and engage commutator3Place two washers on armature, and slide armature and holder assembly into rear coverMake sure brush post goes through hole and is flush on inside of cover
