Charging System-Stator Resistance Tests
Disconnect battery cables before proceeding with this test
[] 1Disconnect stator leads at rectifierregulator connector[] 2Connect one meter lead to connector pin receptacle and the other meter lead to another pin receptacle3Alternate meter leads to test all combinations of stator wires 4To check for grounded condition, connect one meter lead to ground wire and alternately connect the other meter lead to each stator connector pin receptacle Meter should show NO continuity If meter reads continuity, the stator is grounded and must be replaced
