Testing ECU Injector Control The ECU controls injector operation, and fires them in sequential order, 1-3-4-2To test ECU control of the injector circuits, unplug the injector electrical connectors, and plug injector test lights (sometimes callednoid" light) into the connectorsUse Blue Point PIN FID-8339, or similar deviceTest lights can be used one at time, or all four at onceCrank the engine and watch the lightIt should blink on and offor in the appropriate sequential order if four are installedIf one or more circuits fail to blink, check for connector, terminal, or wiring problemsThe ECU is at fault if no other problems can be found
