1Remove 15A fuse and verify fuse is not blownWith 15A fuse removed, run engine until it stallsRepeat times to relieve fuel system pressure2Remove screw from top of fuel rail being careful not to loose or damage gasketW
3Install ONIC Fuel Pressure Adapter, PI 5000000, and connect pressure gauge to top of fuel rail4Reinstall 15A fuse5Turn key switch ONPump will run for seconds and pressure will be 34 PSI (234 kPa) or morePressure may drop slightly when pump stops, but will stabilize within 20 seconds YesGo to Step NoGo to Step Pressure continues to dropGo to Step Pump does not runGo to Step 11
6Relieve pressure and connect gauge to vapor separator outletTurn key switch ONGauge should read more than 34 PSI (234 kPa) Yescheck for leaking fuel injector Noreplace high pressure fuel pumpvapor separator assembly
