Warning System
The Speed Limiting Operational Warning System protects the engine against possible damage due tocoolant temperature overheat exhaust manifold temperature overheat loss of oil pressure operating above 3000 RPM in NEUTRAL over-rev at 6500 RPM for 10 seconds or more
The ECU supplies an intermittent fuel injection signal to all injectors when this system is activatedIf in gear above 3000 RPM, engine speed will gradually be reduced to this levelIf in gear below 3000 RPM, the engine will operate normallyIf in NEUTRAL, the ECU verifies this by Neutral Start Switch signalthen prevents operation above 3000 RPM The ECU will again allow normal engine operation when the condition that initiated S.L.OWno longer exists, and the engine has been returned to idle
