The EM sensor monitors manifold overheat conditionsShould any of the following occur, the ECU will light the "Temp" LED, sound the horn, store service code, and initiate S.L.OW- If over 174F (79CI, and 18F (10C) increase occurs in 10 sec- If over 203F (95C)and 3F (1.4C) increase occurs in 10 sec- If over 214F (101 C), regardless of increase rate or time
