Changing the Oil Change Evinrudel Johnson Ultra 4-Stroke Crankcase Oil every 200 operating hours or once each seasonIf Evinrudel Johnson Ultra 4-Stroke Crankcase Oil is temporarily unavailable, use high detergent SAE 10W-40 SG or SH engine oilChange this oil every 100 operating hoursDrain the old oil after running the engine to warm itWarm oil flows more quickly and completely, containing more suspended sludge than cold oilIf you change the oil only once season, time the work so the engine contains clean oil during storage &
Used engine oil may be harmfulAvoid prolonged or repeated skin contactWash affected skin with soap and water1Place the engine in the vertical position and remove the upper engine cover[]J
2Unscrew and remove the oil fill cap
3Hold suitable container under the oil drain screwRemove the screw and drain the reservoirBefore you reinstall the screw, replace its gasket with new one (several were included in your tool kit)Reinstall the screw and tighten it securely4Pour recommended oil into the oil fill until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstickRefer to Specifications for crankcase and filter capacity
