3Remove shift connector from shift leverUnscrew connector from shift rod8 Models

4Remove clip from shaft
[] 5Tap shaft to clear clevis from shaft6Remove snap pin from pin retaining clevis to shift rod Remove pin and clevis

[]]7Remove six screws attaching gearcase to exhaust housing (15 inmodels), or to the extension (20 and 25 inmodels) 8Remove gearcase and place in suitable holding fixtureDisassembly
