[] 1Apply OIVIC Triple-Guard grease to the steering handle sleeve and install it in bracket2Attach steering handle to the bracket and route cable through grommetTighten the nut just enough so the handle will maintain any position&
Replace the handle locknut if it has lost its locking feature
3Thread anchor onto cable housing until one thread is exposed on front endInstall throttle lever on linkage
[] 4Install throttle on powerhead with washers and screwInstall throttle cable anchor on powerheadTorque screws to 48-96 inIbs(5,4-10,8 Nm)[] 5Install ground (black) wire under bottom flange on power packApply OIVIC Nut Lockto screw and install, with lock washerTorque to 84-106 inIbs(9-12 Nm)[] 6Install stop button black wire in connectorPush connector halves together and secure with retainerBundle wires and connector and secure with tie strap7Install lower engine covers and manual starter
