Timing Procedure
1Install timing belt around crankshaft pulley

2Place flywheel in position and turn clockwise to align mark on flywheel with extrusion on manual starter boss

3Rotate cam pulley clockwise to align mark with extrusion on cylinder head
4With flywheel and cam sprocket in position, install belt on cam pulleyRemove flywheel
rn 5Removeand, with toolthe end of the cam.prevent OMC Nut screw from Apply Lock to screw on crankshaft to rotation,
torque to 84-106 inIbs(10-12 Nm)Valve Lash Adjustment
