20Apply OIVIC Gasket Sealing Compound to casing of new upper crankshaft seal, and oil to the seal lips INote When starting seal over the crankshaft, be sure the lips fit
properly and the seal is square in the bore21Remove keys from the crankshaft and place the seal, casing up, on the crankshaft
22Use OIVIC Crankshaft Seal Installer, PI 342215, indeep-well socket and hammer to tap upper seal into placeTap until installer contacts the powerhead 23Apply OIVIC Gasket Sealing Compound to casing of new lower crankshaft seal, and oil to the lipsPlace the seal, casing up, on the crankshaft24Use OIVIC Crankshaft Seal Installer, PIN 342215, indeep-well socket and hammer to tap lower seal into placeTap until installer contacts the powerhead
25Apply OIVIC Gasket Sealing Compound to both sides of new cylinder head gasketPlace cylinder head and gasket in position on cylinder block, apply OIVIC Four-Stroke Outboard Break-In Lubricantto cylinder head screws, and torque to 18-20 ftIbs(24-27 Nm) in stages in the sequence shown
