Removal
1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leads2Remove manual starter as described in Section 7
3Disengage choke knob from the carburetor choke link
4Remove the two screws from the front of the lower engine cover5Remove the screw from the rear of the lower cover
6Remove the water indicator hose and remove the screw in the rear starboard side of the lower cover 7Separate covers and remove the spring clip from the shift lever45233
