Cylinder Block and Crankcase
1Align marks on piston with marks on connecting rod to ensure proper match2Lubricate wrist pin and wrist pin bore with oil and assemble wrist pin, rod, and pistonPush wrist pin through piston and rod
3Install wrist pin retaining ring in piston by positioning on end in groove and pushing in with finger
Install retaining ring so the gap is positioned opposite from relief, as shown
[] 5To install oil control ring assembly, place segmented ring in bottom groove firstInsert the end of first scraper ring under segmented ring and work around until installation is complete Insert second scraper ring, above segmented ring, in the same fashion6Angle the scraper ring end gaps and segmented ring gap 45 from center points of wrist pin to ensure proper sealing
