Powerhead Service Removal

1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leads
& 2If equipped, disconnect the battery cables from the batteryRemove the battery cables from the engine3Remove manual starter as described in Section 741570

5Remove the two screws from the top of the lower engine cover6Remove the screw from the front port side of the lower cover
